Many music critics cite this as the definitive jazz album of all-time. In 2002, it was chosen by the Library of Congress to be added to the National Recording Registry. It ranked number 12 on Rolling Stone's list of 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.At the risk of sounding passé, Kind of Blue is without question my favorite jazz album. It was probably the first instrumental jazz album I ever really listened to, and it just kind of stuck with me. A definite must-have for any jazz fan.
