OK, this just felt
like homework to me. No offense to any Country Joe fans out there, but I just
could not get into this album. I can appreciate that they were pioneers in the
field of psychedelic rock and performed at the Monterey Pop Festival as well as
Woodstock, but this album just did not appeal to me at all. I listened to it a
couple of times and I came really close to liking the songs "Not So Sweet
Martha Lorraine" and "Love," but I've almost completely
forgotten about them by now.
