#83. Love | Da Capo (1967)
For the most part,
listening to this album was like homework. There was one standout track that I
listened to over and over, "She Comes In Colors." I knew that I had
heard this song before, but then I thought I was just confusing it with "She's
Like A Rainbow" by the Rolling Stones. And then it hit me. One of the
first CD's I ever bought was Nervous Night by The Hooters (NERD ALERT!).
Track number 9 was a cover of "She Comes In Colors."
I did think the alliteration used in "Orange Skies" was quite catchy
("Carnivals and cotton candy"), but the 18-minute-long jam,
"Revelation," was too much for me.
